Route 66

Route 66 is also known as the "Mother Road", it’s 2300 miles from Chicago to Santa Monica California and passes through 9 states. Route 66 started construction in 1926 and in 1932 the last stretch was paved. Route 66 gained its fame in the 50’s when hundreds of thousands Americans made the trip westwards in search of a better life. Much of the history has been preserved such as gas stations, hotels and restaurants alongside the “Mother Road”. It is a must ride tour to take in the American History that goes along with Route 66.
